Instructional Designer (eLearning)

Are you an experienced eLearning Instructional Designer looking for an opportunity to do creative, imaginative, and innovative work? Would you like to write content for a variety of industries and topic areas? Do you want to work with some of the best multimedia developers in the industry? If so, we’d like to hear from you!

Dynacor is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and innovative Instructional Designer to write eLearning courses for corporate clients. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, is passionate about learning development, and knowledgeable about the latest research in instructional design.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients and internal stakeholders to establish project goals.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to validate content requirements and accuracy.
  • Write eLearning outlines that include a) learning objectives, b) instructional strategies, c) assessment strategies, d) content sequence, e) a visual approach, and f) interactivities.
  • Write eLearning storyboards that include a) all components from the outline, b) voice over script, c) precise visual descriptions, d) on-screen text, and e) development instructions.
  • Incorporate client feedback into your storyboards. Recognize and communicate how changes may impact the instructional design.
  • Create materials and documents for instructor-led training (ILT), including facilitator guides, reference guides, job aids, manuals, and presentations.
  • Provide support and directions for the development team to bring your instructional design to life.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews prior to sending the project to the client.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience writing eLearning within a corporate environment.

You also possess the ability to:

  • Analyze business requirements and propose instructional strategies to meet them.
  • Organize and interpret complex information.
  • Research information to supplement client provided content.
  • Apply ID models, instructional strategies, and adult learning principles.
  • Design highly interactive digital learning strategies (e.g. branching, story-based, game-based, etc.).
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment and when under stress.
  • Manage eLearning design projects.

Additional consideration will be given to candidates who have experience with:

  • Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • Graphic Design and Layout
  • UX/UI design

The Marketing and Sales Strategist will be a key player in our company’s success, responsible for developing, executing, and managing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aimed at increasing revenue. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, market analysis, digital marketing expertise, and sales acumen. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of online marketing, content development, and SEO, and will be adept at crafting campaigns and content that resonate with our target audience and drive measurable results.

 

What will you do?

  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify market trends and potential opportunities for growth.
    • Analyze industry needs and customer feedback to refine and adapt marketing tactics.
    • Analyze competitors and related developments to inform sales and marketing strategies.
  • Digital Marketing and SEO:
    • Drive traffic and conversions through the company’s website and other digital properties (e.g. social media, email, campaigns).
    • Optimize the company’s online presence through effective SEO practices and content marketing.
    • Develop and implement a social media strategy to enhance brand awareness and engagement.
    • Monitor, analyze, and report campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimize results.
    • Manage social media accounts, posting regular updates and engaging with followers.
    • Monitor online reviews and feedback, responding appropriately to maintain a positive online reputation.
  • Sales Activities:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold contact, and other lead generation activities.
    • Reconnect with past clients to drive further sales opportunities.
    • Collaborate with the leadership team to design and implement strategies that shorten the sales cycle and increase close rates.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create compelling and relevant content for different platforms, including blogs, social media, email newsletters, and website.
    • Ensure all content is optimized for search engines and aligned with industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to produce project case studies.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting:
    • Establish KPIs and track the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Use analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
    • Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on campaign performance and ROI.
    • Continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights and feedback.

 

What skills will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the eLearning industry.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tools, and best practices.
  • Ability to produce high-quality written and visual marketing content and materials.
  • Proven skills in SEO strategies and techniques, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Proficiency in using the latest marketing software and tools (e.g., CRM systems, email marketing platforms, social media management tools, content generation tools, and SEO tools).
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective marketing and sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the natural ability to review and evaluate content for consistency, accuracy, and overall completeness.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Currently legally eligible to work in Canada.
